By accessing or using invoicing.pet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

invoicing.pet is a web-based invoicing and time tracking application that allows you to:

  • Create and manage invoices
  • Track time spent on projects
  • Generate PDF invoices with your branding
  • Manage client information
  • Track invoice status

IMPORTANT: invoicing.pet is NOT a bank, financial institution, or payment processor. We do not handle, process, store, or facilitate any financial transactions. All payment arrangements and transactions are solely between you and your clients.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Ensure all information you input is accurate and not misleading
  • Comply with all applicable tax laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Not use the Service to transmit any harmful code or malware
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Not use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Be solely responsible for the content of your invoices and communications with clients

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by invoicing.pet and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the content you create using the Service (invoices, client data, etc.).

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

7. Payment and Fees

invoicing.pet is currently offered as a free service. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future with advance notice to users.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data protection seriously and implement security measures to protect your information. However, you acknowledge that no system is completely secure and you use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We are not responsible for any disputes between you and your clients
  • We are not liable for any tax implications or financial consequences of using the Service
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data or business interruption
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently $0)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless invoicing.pet from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Tax and Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling any tax obligations related to your use of the Service and your business activities. invoicing.pet provides tools to help you create invoices but does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Consult with qualified professionals for such matters.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
